The ESTeem 195Ep is ready for Canadian export after receiving Industry Canada type acceptance effective October 19, 2007. The ESTeem 195Ep was also granted type acceptance in United States as of August 4, 2006.

The new ESTeem 195Ep wireless modem is designed for use in the 4.9 GHz licensed public safety frequency band.  The ESTeem 195Ep will allow municipalities, state and federal agencies to deploy rapid response, high data rate network Ethernet applications to serve first responders in time of emergency and natural disaster.  The ESTeem 195Ep will provide users with the advantage of a licensed frequency for high data rate remote networks without the concern of interference from nearby 802.11b/g/a consumer hardware. Mr. Croft left EST in August of 2006 to pursue an opportunity with a local distributor of the Company.  In June of 2007, he made the decision to return to EST.  "I am very excited to return to work for such a great company as Electronic Systems Technology," said Croft.

The ESTeem MDC system offers public safety agencies an affordable solution for their mobile data network requirements.  The ESTeem MDC system provides agencies an alternative to existing proprietary data networks. The ESTeem MDC system allows agencies to establish a private Radio Area Network (RAN), free of monthly service fees.  The ESTeem MDC System product line offers the customer choices in the narrow band licensed 150 to 174 MHz and 450 to 470 MHz frequencies that operate at data rates of 19,200 bps to the unlicensed 2.4 GHz high bandwidth frequencies that transmit data to 54 Mbps.  For 2007 EST introduced two new radios to complement the above products to increase MDCS market share. The ESTeem 195Es is entering production after receiving Federal Communications Commission type acceptance effective June 6, 2007. The ESTeem 195Es has also been granted type acceptance in Canada as of June 5, 2007.

The ESTeem Model 195Es is the latest generation wireless modem with integral Ethernet and serial (RS-232C) interfaces designed for the rigors of the Industrial, Public Safety, and Federal markets.  The Model 195Es is a frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) radio modem operating in the unlicensed 902-928 MHz frequency band that delivers 200 Kbps of data rate over distance greater than 10 miles in high noise environments.  Having both a serial and Ethernet port allows the 195Es to be the perfect low cost solution to your wireless data needs.  Wireless networks over large geographical areas can be a reality using the internal Digi Repeater feature.
