KENNEWICK, WASHINGTON --- August 19, 2008 --- Electronic Systems Technology, Inc. (EST) (OTCBB: ELST), dba ESTeem Wireless Modems, the manufacturer of the ESTeem product line of narrow band licensed, Ethernet Licensed and Unlicensed wireless modems, announced today their new unlicensed product. The ESTeem 195Ed is entering production after receiving Federal Communications Commissions and Industry Canada type acceptance effective August 15, 2008.

The ESTeem Model 195Ed is the latest generation wireless modem with independent Ethernet and Serial (RS-232C) interfaces designed for the rigors of the Industrial, Public Safety, and Federal markets in the unlicensed 902-928 MHz frequency band. The Model 195Ed, with a NEMA 4 enclosure, designed for direct outdoor pole mounting, is a Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) radio modem that can deliver 1 to 54 Mbps of RF data rate in high noise environments. Distances to 11 miles (Line-of-Sight) at 1 to 11 Mbps are possible for point to point and point to multi-point applications. Wireless networks over large geographical areas can be a reality using the internal MESHing feature. The 195Ed also has a Client Mode feature so it can be used as a high powered mobile radio in applications roaming under a 195Ed canopy.

Electronic Systems Technology, a publicly held Company since 1984, was the first Company to develop the wireless modem and receive the United States and Canadian patents for this technology.
